खरीप हंगामासाठी कृषी विभागाने गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण पथके, भरारी पथके कार्यान्वित करावीत. पुरेसे बी-बियाणे, खतांचा साठा उपलब्ध असून, ते वेळेत मिळतील, अशी दक्षता कृषी विभागाने घ्यावी. मान्सूनवर अल- निनोचा प्रभाव होण्याची शक्यता वर्तविण्यात येत आहे.
अशा परिस्थितीत शेतकऱ्यांनी पेरण्यांची घाई करू नये. पुरेसा पाऊस आणि ओल पाहूनच पेरण्यांचा निर्णय घ्यावा. त्यासाठी कृषी विभाग आणि कृषी विद्यापीठांनी वेळोवेळी मार्गदर्शन करावे. राज्य शासनाच्या माध्यमातून पुरविण्यात येणारे बियाणे दर्जेदार असावे. त्याचीही आपण प्रत्यक्ष शेतात जाऊन पाहणी करणार असल्याचे मुख्यमंत्री शिदे म्हणाले.
मुख्यमंत्री शिदे म्हणाले. फडणवीस यांनी राष्ट्रीयीकृत बँका शेतकऱ्यांना वेळेत कर्ज देत नाहीत यावर तीव्र नाराजी व्यक्‍त केली. शेतकऱ्यांची अडवणूक करणाऱ्यांविरुद्ध एफआयआर दाखल करा, बोगस बियाणे, खते किक्रेत्यांविरुद्ध वेळप्रसंगी परवाने रद्द करावेत, असे ते म्हणाले.
९६% पाऊस अपेक्षित
राज्यात यंदा सरासरीच्या ९६ टक्के पाऊस अपेक्षित असल्याची माहिती कृषिमंत्री पयत ल सत्तार यांनी यावेळी राज्यात सन २०२२-२३ मध्ये धान्य पिकाचे १७२.४९ लाख टत उत्पाद अपेक्षित आहे.
यंदाच्या खरीप हंगामात कापूस पिकाखाली ४९.६८ लाख हेक्‍टर, तर सोयाबीन पिकाखाली ४९.९९ लाख हेक्‍टर, भात पिकाखाली १५.९१ लाख हेक्‍टर, मका पिकाखाली ९.९० लाख हेक्‍टर, तर कडधान्य पिकाखाली २०५३ लाख हेक्‍टर क्षेत्राचे नियोजन आहे.
The farmers’ protest against banks refusing to provide debt waivers has prompted Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to suggest filing criminal complaints against the bank officials. Speaking at a state-level meeting organized for the upcoming Kharif season, Fadnavis expressed his strong opposition to burdening farmers with debt. However, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has called for restraint and advised farmers not to resort to violence.
For the upcoming Kharif season, the Agriculture Department aims to implement quality control measures and ensure the availability of quality seeds and fertilizers. They will also monitor the timely distribution of these inputs, taking into account the possible impact of El Niño during the monsoon.
In such circumstances, farmers should not bear the burden of debt. Decisions regarding sowing should be made based on careful observation of rainfall and soil conditions. The Agriculture Department and agricultural universities should provide timely guidance in this regard. The state government will provide certified seeds through official channels. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of personally visiting the fields to assess the situation.
Chief Minister Shinde stated that Fadnavis’ criticism of nationalized banks for not providing timely loans to farmers was expressed with strong discontent. He urged farmers to file complaints with the Financial Resolution and Deposit Insurance (FRDI) against those engaged in unfair practices and called for the cancellation of licenses of vendors selling fake seeds and adulterated fertilizers.
